REFRAMIO / BY CORVAS
Privacy policy
Unpublished review copy. Prepared 28 October 2026. Owner must approve the operator's legal identity, effective date, final SDK configuration, retention/deletion operations and hosting practices before this text becomes a public policy. This draft describes the inspected base configuration; enabled optional services must be accurately reflected before release.
Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Reframio, an Android video editing app provided by Corvas, handles information when you use the app, visit https://reframio.corvas.in, or contact corvas.official@gmail.com. “We” refers to the provider of Reframio. You can contact us at that email about this policy and your privacy choices.
Your video and editing data
You choose the videos, background images and subtitle files Reframio can open through Android's system document picker. Reframio reads those files to create previews, analyze framing, suggest clips, recognize speech, apply edits and export your result. Its core media processing runs on your device. The app's video analysis and English transcription paths do not upload your source footage, audio or transcript to a cloud editing or transcription service.
Reframio stores drafts and editing information in app storage. This can include source file names and access references, framing and tracking information, captions and transcripts, styles, export settings and project history. Generated previews, downloaded models, export files and queue information are also stored locally. Keep original source files accessible while using a draft. Deleting or moving a source file can prevent the draft from opening.
Saving to your gallery creates a copy outside Reframio's private storage. When you choose Share, Android gives the app you select access to the exported content. That recipient and any document/cloud provider you choose handle data under their own policies. Reframio does not automatically publish your content to social networks.
Models and operational information
English speech recognition uses Vosk on device. The first transcription downloads an approximately 40 MB model from alphacephei.com over HTTPS. The server receives normal connection information needed to deliver that file, such as an IP address. The app verifies the model archive's integrity before using it.
Reframio uses Google ML Kit for local visual analysis. ML Kit can contact Google for models, compatibility and configuration, and sends operational metrics such as device/app context, installation identifiers, feature events and performance/error information. These metrics support diagnostics and usage analysis; they are separate from your footage. See ML Kit privacy information and Android data disclosure.
Analytics, advertising and purchases
The planned launch includes Google AdMob advertising, as selected by the provider. Google Mobile Ads collects and shares approximate location inferred from IP address, app/ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or other identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Its documented data transport uses TLS. Users can reset or delete their advertising ID in Android settings. Consent and privacy options depend on the region and the final configured consent messages. See Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.
Implementation review: the provider-supplied AdMob app ID is configured, but an ad-unit ID and production consent setup are still required before the planned ads-enabled release. The previously built unsigned bundle has no configured banner. The policy and declarations must match the eventual distributed build.
App-level Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Microsoft Clarity session replay and RevenueCat purchases remain disabled in the inspected configuration. Firebase services used by ML Kit for configuration/installation operations can still be relevant as described above. A disabled optional SDK is not a promise that no operational data leaves the device.
If a release enables optional analytics, session replay, advertising or purchases, its policy and in-app disclosures must describe those active services and their data handling before distribution. Reframio does not currently require a user account. There is no email/password account-creation flow in the inspected app.
Website and support
The website provides product and support information. When you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, and use them to respond to your request and manage support. Avoid sending private footage or sensitive information unless it is needed to resolve your issue. Website infrastructure may process connection/request metadata to deliver and protect the site; the final hosting provider and retention practices must be confirmed before this policy is published.
Storage, backup and retention
Local project information remains in app storage until removed through the app, Android storage controls or uninstall, subject to Android backup and device transfer behavior. The current backup rules exclude generated exports, export snapshots, thumbnails, QA captures, downloaded speech models and export queue files. Drafts and settings may participate in Android backup or transfer according to device/account settings. Original files and gallery exports have their own storage and backup lifecycle.
Support correspondence and any service-side operational information are retained as needed for the purposes described here and applicable legal obligations, under the provider's approved retention practices. We do not state a fixed retention period for third-party infrastructure that has not been verified. The provider must review retention settings before publication and respond to applicable privacy requests.
Your choices and requests
You can decline file selection, revoke source-file access through Android where supported, delete individual drafts, and clear app storage or uninstall to remove local private app data. Draft deletion does not delete the original source or copies saved to the gallery. Remove those separately using your chosen storage app. Cloud/device backups may need separate management through Android or your backup provider.
For questions, access/correction requests or deletion requests concerning information you sent us, contact corvas.official@gmail.com. Tell us what information or interaction your request concerns; do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We may need enough information to verify and locate the relevant records. Some vendor-held aggregate or operational data may not be identifiable by us; we will explain applicable options and legal retention limits. There is no Reframio user account to delete in the current app.
Security and external services
Reframio uses Android app storage and access controls, limited file grants, and HTTPS for the observed model download. Third-party SDKs have their own security practices. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. We do not claim an independent security certification or protection against all loss of source files and drafts.
Children and changes
Reframio is intended for adult creators aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. This audience decision is separate from the app's content rating. Contact corvas.official@gmail.com if you believe a child has provided personal information that requires attention.
We may update this policy when the product or data practices change. The published version will identify its effective date. Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
